Ferris Wheel is a poignant drama about a lonely young girl who escapes her abusive home life by transforming her cramped storage-room bedroom into a whimsical world of imagination. I served as Production Designer alongside Katarina Stojanovic, where we developed the visual concept and design language of the film. One of our main creative focuses was the girl’s makeshift bedroom — a space built from discarded boxes, chalk drawings, and a handmade ferris wheel crafted from an old bike tire. Every detail was carefully chosen to mirror the contrast between the character’s bleak reality and her imaginative inner world. Through thoughtful set dressing and textural storytelling, we contributed to the emotional depth and visual poetry of the film.
