The Warrant: Breaker’s Law is a Western action-drama directed by Brent Christy and starring Neal McDonough, Dermot Mulroney, Bruce Boxleitner, and Amy Hargreaves. The film follows John Breaker (McDonough), a Civil War hero turned sheriff, who must uphold the law while confronting his outlaw son and the moral conflicts that come with balancing justice, family, and loyalty.
I had the opportunity to work on this project as the Art Director, collaborating closely with production designer Daniel Koenig to ensure the environments reflected the authenticity of the post-Civil War American frontier. The production was filmed at Mescal Movie Set Studios, where nearly every existing location required extensive alterations and rebuilds to align with the film’s narrative. In addition, we designed and constructed a fully realized location from the ground up—an isolated, weathered train station—that became a key setting in the story.
